Knights of Honor - October 2022

The Lake Norman Charter High School Knights of Honor program recognizes students for their personal progress in fulfilling the LNC Honor Code. The program allows faculty and staff to nominate students who demonstrate one of the four pillars: Honesty, Integrity, Respect, and Responsibility.

Our October recipients are: Sophomores Noah B. (Integrity) & Emma H. (Respect) and Seniors Samuel B. (Honesty) [first picture] & Elizabeth O. (Responsibility) [second picture].

Their respective nominations:

Noah identified a security concern and immediately brought it to my attention. His concern for school safety and the wellbeing of his fellow students is greatly appreciated..[nominated by Mr. Bates]

Emma is willing to help students in class who get frustrated or are confused about a concept. She goes out of her way to offer advice and is patient. I notice her kindness and I hope others do, too. [nominated by Mrs. Porter]

For a few months that I have knowns Sam, he shows nothing but honesty. He no longer takes the tech internship, but he takes the time out of his day to come in and train our new tech intern. He is very patient and always provides positive feedback to our new interns. Most of our interns don't come from a tech background, but with the two months that Sam has worked with them, they are able to fix motherboards, batteries, keyboards, and image laptops. He goes above and beyond and as a result, we have one student who decided they will indeed go into the tech field! [nominated by Mrs. Barry]

Elizabeth has always been a joy to have in class. She always comes to class prepared, with a smile, and ready to learn. She always reaches out with questions, if needed, and always gives her best effort with school work. [nominated by Ms. Zaino]

Congratulations and thank you to these students for being their best!
