Knights of Honor - January 2024

The Lake Norman Charter High School Knights of Honor program recognizes students for their personal progress in fulfilling the LNC Honor Code. The program allows faculty and staff to nominate students who demonstrate one of the four pillars: Honesty, Integrity, Respect, and Responsibility.

Our recipients for January are: Freshmen Camren R. (Responsibility) & Charlie Z (Respect), Sophomore Michael G. (Respect), and Junior Channing S. (Responsibility).

Their respective nominations:

Camren works hard in all of his classes. He takes the time to make sure his assignments are turned in and asks good questions. He advocates for himself when he has questions and he works on his time management skills between sports and school. (nominated by Mr. Steele)

Charlie always comes to class with a positive attitude and always greets me when he gets to class. Charlie also always speaks to me before leaving class. He works hard during class and is always on-task. Charlie also volunteers regularly during class. (nominated by Ms. Blanchard)

Michael is always respectful to all those around him, including teachers and peers. Michael opens the door for teachers at times and is always looking to help those around him. He is extremely polite and always works hard to be his best every day. (nominated by Ms. Zaino)

Channing swims year-round and also for LNC's swim team. His commitment to his sport and studies proves his ability to manage his time, pursue his passions, and balance his responsibilities with dedication. He has such a positive attitude, compassion for others, and respect for his education; he is destined to make a major impact in the world. (nominated by Mrs. Cavicchia)

Congratulations and thank you to these students for being their best!
