Their respective nominations:
Maya is an outstandingly hard working biology student. She is always respectful to her peers and teachers. She creates a positive, safe and secure environment in her academic and extracurricular environments. She is truly a stellar example of a LNC scholar.
Luke is a very hard worker and is always polite and respectful towards his peers and teachers. He understands when he makes mistakes, and instead of dwelling on them he learns from them with humility and dignity. Luke truly exemplifies our pillar of respect and is a great role model for this skill.
Andrew is in my English 11 and is respectful and diligent with his studies. He started the semester off with a rocky beginning, but took initiative and responsibility to attend book talks and advocate for himself to ensure he not only understood the material but that he was going above and beyond with his assignments. He has put in extra effort and is sincerely trying, especially during basketball season when I know he doesn't have as much time to do homework. He is polite, works hard, and a joy to have in class.
Ragan puts her all in everything she does and even when things are outside her comfort zone, she excels and rises to any challenge. She is responsible, hard-working, driven, and motivated to give her best in class.
Congratulations to these students for being their best and thank you for viewing,
