Knights of Honor - Sept. 2019

The Lake Norman Charter High School Knights of Honor program recognizes students for their personal progress in fulfilling the LNC Honor Code.  The KoH program allows faculty and staff to nominate students who demonstrate one of the four pillars: Honesty, Integrity, Respect, and Responsibility.

This month’s winners are: Junior Nija R. (Honesty), Senior Will E. (Responsibility), Sophomore Koy B. (Integrity), and Freshman Alden J. (Respect).

Nija demonstrated great honesty and integrity by upholding the LNC Honor Code in a situation where she could have easily chosen to ignore it without consequence. Nija courageously chose to bring an important issue to her teacher's attention when other students might have remained silent. In doing so, Nija displayed excellent character that embodies the spirit of Lake Norman Charter.

Koy consistently seeks to do his best regardless of what his peers are doing around him. He acts with integrity while doing his assessments and never hesitates to offer a hand to his peers who might be struggling. He is reliable and responsible with his time and holds himself to a high standard of excellence in academics and behavior.

During the first days of school Alden was kind enough to befriend a new student and sit with her during lunch helping to make her feel welcomed at LNC.

Will continually shows up prepared, alert, and ready to work in every class. He takes his studies seriously and participates in all of his classes in a respectful and thoughtful manner. He has grown into a wonderful student and continues to show work ethic that everyone can look up to.

Congratulations to these students for being their best and thank you for viewing,
