The Lake Norman Charter High School Knights of Honor program recognizes students for their personal progress in fulfilling the LNC Honor Code. The program allows faculty and staff to nominate students who demonstrate one of the four pillars: Honesty, Integrity, Respect, and Responsibility. Faculty and Staff have the opportunity to nominate students.
Our April recipients are: Sophomore Jay B. (Respect), Senior Cameron M. (Responsibility), Freshman Gabriella S. (Respect), and Junior Bryn S. (Integrity).

Jay is one of the most polite students I have ever taught and he always had his Zoom camera on when we were virtual! I could always count on him to participate and be an active member of the class. [nominated by Ms. McFarland]
Cameron had some struggles to start the year within my class and understanding the material, but she never gave up. She continuously worked hard, asked clarifying questions, reached out during office hours, and attended tutoring to not only strengthen her grade in the class, but also her understanding of the material; she is now one of the strongest students in AP Stats. I am very proud of her hard work and determination even more so in this difficult school year and learning environment. [nominated by Coach Zamiara]
Gabriella is always respectful of her teachers and her peers. She is responsible and not only always completes her work to the best of her ability, she volunteers and participates in class discussions, even when they are difficult conversations. She always has a smile on her face (behind her mask) and a wonderful attitude. [nominated by Ms. Poynter]
Bryn has done such an excellent job in class all year, but especially lately. She stood out during distance learning as someone who was always prepared for class, had her camera on, and was ready to actively participate. I think her efforts helped make the class more cogent and more enjoyable. Keep up the good work Bryn! [nominated by Mr. Swiatek]
Congratulations to these students for being their best!
