Knights of Honor - February 2022

The Lake Norman Charter High School Knights of Honor program recognizes students for their personal progress in fulfilling the LNC Honor Code.  The program allows faculty and staff to nominate students who demonstrate one of the four pillars: Honesty, Integrity, Respect, and Responsibility.

Our February recipients are: Juniors Garson L. (Integrity) and Ishmael N. (Responsibility) & Seniors Cole M. (Honesty) and Joshua P. (Respect).

Their respective nominations:

Garson serves as a great example of leadership for his peers. Whenever he works in a group, he's the one who keeps everyone on task. He encourages deeper thinking by asking hard questions--even when the rest of the class is hesitant to do so.  Garson also demonstrates a growth mindset by being open to ideas other than his own and being willing to change his mind.  He is a supportive, engaged, and engaging classmate to his peers! [nominated by Mrs. McClain]

Cole is the type of student that shows integrity in all that he accomplishes; he is also mindful of those less fortunate, and he spends time pouring into the youth of today in a volunteer and professional capacity. [nominated by Mrs. Massingale]

Ish is an exemplary student.  His work ethic, attention to accuracy and detail, and careful thought put into every assignment throughout this entire year have impressed me.  Consistent, bright, and hard-working, Ish leads by example. [nominated by Mrs. Smith]

Josh is one of the most polite, hardworking students I've met in several years.  He is also thoughtful of both his peers and teachers and is consistently participating in class in a mature, thoughtful way.  Josh often contributes in class and is always respectful of those around him.  He deserves to be recognized for his hard work, respect for his teachers & peers, and his overall good attitude when it comes to schoolwork. [nominated by Coach Steele]

Congratulations and thank you to these students for being their best!
