Knights of Honor - September 2022

The Lake Norman Charter High School Knights of Honor program recognizes students for their personal progress in fulfilling the LNC Honor Code.  The program allows faculty and staff to nominate students who demonstrate one of the four pillars: Honesty, Integrity, Respect, and Responsibility.

Our September recipients are:  Freshman Caitlyn D. (Respect), Sophomore Kamryn H. (Responsibility), Junior Christian V. (Responsibility), and Senior Emma C. (Responsibility).

Their respective nominations:

Emma has been a saving grace with the yearbook program this year and made the transition easier for me to step into the role of advisor. Not only do they volunteer weekly to create the middle school yearbook, but they are the editor in charge of this year's HS yearbook. Emma has stepped up to the plate to create resources for the current students and teach the class about the design program. I never have to ask Emma to do anything more than once and they are proactive in looking ahead to plan.[nominated by Mrs. Cavicchia]

From the first day of school, Caitlyn (Caity) has been a positive leader in class. She has gone above and beyond on her classwork, been welcoming and helpful to a student new to LNC, and has shown a level of maturity while in the company of her peers. [nominated by Ms. Matocha]

Christian has shown great progress and commitment compared to his previous Spanish 2. He is also respectful, caring, and kind to his other classmates. [nominated by Mr. Luna]

Kamryn comes to class each day ready to learn, always smiling and full of energy. In class activities, she does not hesitate to get started on the task at hand and motivates those around her. She's a smart young lady with a bright future ahead :-). [nominated by Mrs. Williams]

Congratulations and thank you to these students for being their best!
