Live from Kalamazoo - Charlotte Edition

[YouTube link accessible in web version of blog post; might be inaccessible in mobile version.]

Live from Kalamazoo is a program designed as a regional event to connect Western Michigan University to alumni virtually in selected regions.  Key leaders at WMU, such as President Montgomery and Kristen DeVries (VP, University Advancement) discussed WMU's connection to the region.  Alumni Association Board President Sarah Husain also offered opportunities for alumni to be involved.

Charlotte and the surrounding region was one of the five areas selected for the 2021 Live from Kalamazoo event.

Furthermore, each session highlighted a current WMU student from the focused area; this is what made the Charlotte edition of Live from Kalamazoo special for this Principal/Alumus.

The highlighted student was Amy Maurice, current sophomore at WMU majoring in Studio Art, who is also a graduate of Lake Norman Charter (Class of 2019).  Amy is the first LNC graduate to attend Western Michigan University.  [Her portion begins at the 13:13 mark. #LNCPride]

It's a great day to be a Bronco!
