Advanced Placement Exam scores for 2022 were recently released in North Carolina. Proficiency on the AP Exam requires a level III, IV, or V.
For Lake Norman Charter, here is a rundown of some quick-hit highlights, starting with our overall success:
Three subjects had at least 30% higher Proficiency rate than the National Average: Chemistry, Human Geography, and U.S. Government.

Three subjects had 100% Proficiency: Chemistry, English Literature, and Studio Art: 2-D.
We were above the National Average in 13 total subjects.

A long-term comparison (2015 v. 2022) shows an increase of our overall proficiency, but also a continued growth of the number of students enrolled (note: the number of students proficient in 2022 exceeds the number of total AP tested students in 2015):
2015: 341 out of 426 (80.1% proficiency)
2022: 428 out of 524 (81.68%)
