As we prepare for the opening of the 2015-2016 school-year, it is crucial for all stakeholders to be aware and knowledgeable of our school's Strategic Plan, Board goals, and specifically the focus areas of this Plan. These focus areas are aligned with the LNC mission, core values, and ultimately affiliate the characteristics outlined in the "Portrait of an LNC Student".Every faculty and staff member, student, parent/guardian, and involved community member should be familiar with the five key focus areas of our Strategic Plan, as follows:
- Technology
1:World program, digital citizenship, global education
- College Counseling/Partnership
Enhanced post-secondary relationships, partnerships with area organizations
- Cross Cultural Competency
Expanded awareness and understanding, embedded professional growth
- Living the Mission
Ensure the "lead" and "serve" components of motto are being met regularly
- Master Campus Plan
Development and support of necessary campus and facilities improvements/projects
The above five focus areas require a truly cohesive and collaborative effort of all stakeholders. The Board, administrators, faculty, staff, students, and parents all cooperate and aspire to accomplish the LNC Strategic Plan goals, but this can only occur if we first and foremost regularly communicate the areas in which we strive to grow.
