E-Learning Day Pilot - Student Survey Data

On Thursday, February 11th, the entire Lake Norman Charter School community piloted an "E-Learning Day" for all students and faculty.

Teachers and administrators began collaborating and gathering research in preparation for an E-Learning pilot in the Spring of 2015.  The collaboration and planning continued through the current school-year, leading up to February's event.

To assess and evaluate our most crucial stakeholder, our students were asked to complete a brief E-Learning High School Student Survey Google Form.  Here is our data:

Overall, I would describe my E-Learning experience as...

95.6% Successful 4.4% Unsuccessful

For future planned Half-Days, I would rather...

79.7% ...complete the day as an E-Learning Day.      11.2% *I have no preference
9.1% ...attend school, as a traditional Half-Day.

For inclement weather, I would rather...

84.1% Complete the day as an E-Learning Day.         4.9% *No Preference
11% Make-up the day during a predetermined "Makeup Day", per approved calendar.

n=474

Our student data is pivotal for future potential E-Learning implementation and while students were able to provide general open-feedback at the conclusion of the survey, the success of the Pilot is evident.

Thanks for viewing and please feel free to reach out if you have any questions,

    So these are the results of the high school students only? Are the result from the parents of the high school and middle school available?
