Ashbrook Students "Read Across America" at Lingerfeldt Elementary

National Read Across America Day, aligned with the birthday of Dr. Suess, occurred on March 2.  Earlier this week, a group of Ashbrook High School students visited Lingerfeldt Elementary to participate in "Read Across America."  The participating high school students were members of Voces Latinas Club, French Club, or German Club.

Mrs. Lisa Neisler (ESL Teacher) is the advisor for Voces Latinas.  Ms. Kendra Shaffer (German Teacher) is the advisor for German Club.  Mrs. Mamie Chisholm (French Teacher) is the advisor for French Club.  All three were instrumental in organizing and executing the event.

Mr. Clinton (Principal) participated, easily transforming back to his elementary days, and read to a 3rd Grade class.

Thank you to Principal Bradley and Ms. Thressia Greer (Parent Involvement Specialist) for allowing our students to participate.

Thanks for reading,

CS
